GOLDILOCKS

GOLDILOCKS is a real-time participatory data artwork that visualizes the dynamic relationship between the audience's ideas on ‘just right’ weather and the current reality of Earth’s climate. Utilizing interactive 3D computer graphics, GOLDILOCKS simulates the weather by retrieving live data of the installed location and guides the audience to customize the parameters. Each participation contributes a data point to the collective visualization, that are organized according to the similarity with the current weather. Grounded in the relational paradigms of the Anthropocene, the artwork aims to reveal the ‘in-between’ space of climate preference and advocate for hope from around the world.
